"There are a lot of rests in music," our eight-year-old's violin teacher recently said. Turns out it’s the same in life. The most impactful, creative, and inspiring lives have a rhythm of rest - though perhaps some of us are struggling to believe that in a society where it often feels that playing note-after-note-after-note is the only way to press forward.
