And no lie! Your words to me on my final Sunday at Grace Covenant are not forgotten. Your encouragement is instrumental to my leaning into this… finally(!)
Showing up consistently is simultaneously the easiest and hardest thing to do. Read this one with a broad grin all the way through. Brings back memories of my own, highly acclaimed Frankencat story from the 3rd grade.
Thanks, Penny - this is a great idea! I'm intrigued, actually, to think of the ways our rest/Sabbath/idleness has been 'stolen' or lost (by us and by forces around us). And what it means to then recover it. Food for thought for sure.... Thank you again!
These short stories are a book in and of themselves, I appreciate the writing, Bobby!
Thanks, Brad… Truly means a lot.

Yep - amazing how the pedestrian (showing up!) is, in fact, such an up-and-down thing.
And now I'm intrigued! Maybe Frankencat needs to make an appearance in The Dirt. Or somewhere... :)
The title is great for a new book written by you about Sabbath?
Thanks for the thoughts and smiles!
